My husband invited my daughter, her husband and three kids to go on a camping trip with us. Then another son-in-law and two more grandchildren decided to come along. No problem, except that it involved a thousand mile car trip in two vehicles far past their prime, camping in tents, riding the river in our raft, etc. There was a lot of fodder for worry there! I worried about car trouble, flash floods, rafting accidents and a host of other catastrophes. Well, we made our trip and everything went fine. Our worst injury was a stubbed toe.Actually, I've written a recent blog post on this topic with the quotation that helps me get over my fears.

I can really relate to this post.
